“We Ain’t no Photoshoppin’ Deadass”
2023SSシーズンテーマはEric B and Rakimの名曲タイトルDon’t sweat the techniqueとKendrick Lamarのリリックから一説を抜き繋ぎ、昨今のそれっぽい編集系やグラフィックのみのファッションではなくMAGIC STICKが90年代から実際に見て触れたもの達を元にスポーツ、ワーク、ミリタリー、アメカジまでジャンルレスに編集し当時のミックスカルチャーを長年培ってきたテクニカルな仕様を多く落とし込みアパレルコレクションで表現。
90年代に一世を風靡したアノMVのバックダンサーが着用していたナイロンセットアップを元ネタにオリジナルパターンを描き起こしフルプリントした当時のままのルーズフィットシルエットで製作したセットアップをオリジナルパターンテキスタイルで製作。
一度は通るハワイアンシャツの老舗Rayn Spooner社とのコラボレーションでは長袖のレーヨンアロハシャツと、過去一度もなかったアロハパターンのマウンテンギア的なミッドレイヤー仕様のライトウェイトナイロンパフジャケットを製作。
古き良きものとのミックスアップというアプローチで新たなプロダクトを製作。
現代版のジャージ素材で製作したオーセンティックなメキシカンパーカーや、今シーズン多く製作したニットで編み上げたモトクロスジャージやワッフルLS TEEなどテクニカルでありつつ上品に仕上がったMAIC STICKらしいアイテム群も魅力です。
また、タウンユースはもちろん、トレーニングやアクションスポーツでも使用可能な、吸湿速乾素材などハイレベルのファブリックを多用し大手スポーツメーカー並みのテクニカルな縫製で製作したTechシリーズは今シーズンのリコメンドアイテムの一つ。
グラフィカルなロゴブランドが主流の昨今の流れには、反してロゴ類は最小限に押さえファッションギアとして裏打ちがあり長く着ることのできるウェアを製作しています。 もちろん以前のシーズン同様、熟練のパターンメーカーとの綿密な取り組みでストレスのない可動域や着心地を徹底的に向上させブランドの根底にあるコンフォータブルなウェアをお楽しみください。

Theme
Don’t sweat the technique.
“We Ain’t no Photoshoppin’ Deadass”
The theme for the 2023SS season is based on Eric B and Rakim’s classic song “Don’t sweat the technique” and a lyric by Kendrick Lamar, and is a collection of apparel that is not based on recent editorial or graphic-only fashion, but rather a collection of apparel that is a collection of technical specifications that has been cultivated over many years of mixed culture from the 90s. MAGIC STICK has been editing the apparel collection based on what he actually saw and touched in the 90’s, from sports, work, military, and American casual without genre, and expressing the mixed culture of the time with many technical specifications cultivated over the years.
The collection also includes a set-up with a loose-fit silhouette, which is based on a nylon set-up worn by the back dancers of Ano MV, which took the world by storm in the 90’s. The original pattern was drawn up and fully printed, and the set-up is produced in the same loose-fit silhouette as at that time. The collaboration with Ramidus, a bag brand in Harajuku, Tokyo, which has been continuously collaborating with the brand, has also produced a tote bag based on the legacy of the Head Porter era, arranged in a modern version, using the same original pattern textile as the nylon tracksuits.
Collaboration with Rayn Spooner, a long-established Hawaiian shirt company, produced a long-sleeved rayon aloha shirt and a lightweight nylon mid-layer puffy jacket in an aloha pattern that has never been used in mountain gear before.
The new products were produced with the approach of mixing up the good old with the new.
Authentic Mexican parkas made from modern jersey material, motocross jerseys knitted from knitwear, and waffle LS tees, which were produced in large numbers this season, are also appealing items that are both technical and elegant and are typical of MAIC STICK.
Also, the Tech series, which can be used not only for town use but also for training and action sports, is one of the recommended items for this season, using many high-level fabrics such as moisture absorbent and quick-drying materials and sewed with the same level of technical skill as major sports manufacturers.
Contrary to the recent trend of graphical logo brands, the Tech Series is made with minimal logos, and is designed to be worn for a long time as fashionable gear. Of course, as in previous seasons, we have worked closely with skilled pattern makers to thoroughly improve the stress-free range of motion and comfort of the garments, so that you can enjoy the comfortable wear that lies at the foundation of the brand.

世界への旅もままならないコロナ禍、ファッションフィールドもトレンドを追うのはSNS頼り。
MAGIC STICKも海外への旅やコミニュケーションが行えずにいることで、自分たちのルーツに立ち返りSS22シーズンから引き続きノイズに振り回されないオリジナルのスタイルを再構築。
インラインでは、ミリタリー、ワークウェアやスポーツウェアをベースに得意の違素材ドッキングや独特のシルエットでコレクションを製作。
ブランドスタート期に多く製作していた古着の様な加工などを新しいサスティナビリティの高いスキルで今期多くのアイテムに落とし込んでいる。
Primaloftを使用したジャケットや上質なダウンなど高い保温性を確保したアウターウェアや、不定期に展開するハイブランドのファブリックを落とし込んだEAT THE RICHシリーズも今期は展開。EAT THE RICHシリーズでは、コラボレーションを継続するRAMIDUS TOKYOとのコレクションも製作。
製品のクオリティアップに注力しコンセプトに沿った長く着ることができるコレクションを展開。
また、SS22シーズンから本格的にスタートした10年分のアーカイブから良い部分を抽出、再構築したストリートマインドベーシックウェアライン”THE CORE”は、カットソーシリーズに加えシンプルなトラウザー、シャツやトラックスーツ、ジャケットなど布帛シリーズをボリュームアップ。
日本で多くのハイブランドを手がける高い技術力を誇る縫製工場で丁寧に製作したアイテム群は、ブランドと共に成長したユーザーや、新たなゾーンへのアプローチも可能な、MAGIC STICKのまさに核となる新パッケージ。
Theme : (Return to) THE ROOTS
The Covid disaster has left us unable to travel the world, and we rely on SNS to follow trends in the fashion field.
MAGIC STICK has also been unable to travel and communicate overseas, so we have gone back to the roots and rebuilt our original style that has not been affected by noise since the SS22 season. In the main collection, focus to create unique silhouettes and combinate with different fabrics & materials based on the elements of military, workwear and sportswear. To have incorporated the old clothes-like processing that it used to produce in its early days into many of its items with new and highly sustainable skills in the season.
We also offers outerwear with high heat insulation such as Primaloft jackets and high quality down, as well as the “EAT THE RICH” series that incorporates fabrics from high end brands. we also produced a collection with RAMIDUS TOKYO, with whom we continue to collaborate. To focus on improving the quality of the products and developing the collection that can be worn for a long time in line with the brand concept.
The street-minded basic wear line “THE CORE”, which started in earnest from the SS22 season, extracts and reconstructs the best parts from the 10-year archive, in addition to the cut-and-sewn series, has increased the volume of the woven series such as simple pants, shirts, tracksuits, and jackets.
The items are carefully produced at a sewing factory in Japan, which boasts of its high technology and handles many high brands such as CELINE. The new package is the very core of MAGIC STICK, which can approach users who have grown up with the brand and new zones.

MAGIC STICKインラインはブランドが得意とする90年代感のあるスポーツ、ワーク、ミリタリーといったオーセンティックなプロダクト群に国内屈指のパターンメーカーや縫製スキルの高い工場との連携でテクニカルな要素を追加し、カジュアルすぎないルックブックを製作。 ”THE CORE”のとはまた違う雰囲気でブランドらしさが随所に伝わるスタイルが見所です。
”THE CORE”のルックブックは、ベーシックかつ、シンプルな中にメゾンブランドを彷彿させるクリーンな雰囲気やブランドのバックボーンでもあるストリートマインドが反映されたリラックスした都会的な雰囲気を感じるビジュアルに。
勿論今期も、継続的に展開するRAMIDUS TOKYOとのコラボピースもリリースされます。
