Late Winter & Early Summer 2022 (SS22) collection
Theme : World Tour (Melting Pot)
今シーズンはワールドツアーと題し、人種の坩堝NYCのような多国籍なアイディアをアイテムに落とし込み制作。
90年代の荒削りな時代の 原宿ファッション創世 を連想するようなミリタリー、ワーク、スポーツをベースとした東京らしいアーバンストリートをにヨーロッパや中東、アジア、そして北米などあらゆる地域の素をサンプリングし、強く影響を受けた80-90年代のアメリカンカジュアルサイズに落とし込んでいます。
数シーズン展開を続けるコラボレーションシリーズも強化し、今季は日本の優良ブランドもコラボレーションするなどファッションゾーンでの人気も高いイギリスのウェアを手がけるArkAir社との協業で、定番スモックジャケットとBDUパンツをフルカスタムしたエクスクルーシブなセットアップを始め、アメリカンワークウェアのDickiesが追加。
MAGIC STICKの定番パンツをDickiesでアレンジ。
3シーズン目となる元祖 原宿とも言えるRAMIDUSともサマーシーズンに向けたミニマルなカプセルコレクションを制作。
ブランドのベースとなったストリートマインドベーシックTHE COREも新たにテスト販売を終え正式追加された品番をプラスしボリュームアップ。
軸となるTHE COREをベースに多国籍なアイテム群をチョイスすることで多様なコーディネートを提案。
気軽に海外への渡航ができないこの時代に少しでも世界の匂いを感じることができたらという思いから構築されたMelting Pot Collection.
MAGIC STICK Late Winter & Early Summer 2022 (SS22) collection
Theme : World Tour (Melting Pot)
This season’s collection is titled “World Tour” and is edited and produced by incorporating the multinational ideas of NYC, a melting pot of races, into the items.
We have sampled elements from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America, and incorporated them into the American casual wear of the 80s and 90s, which strongly influenced us.
The collection is based on the American casual style of the 80s and 90s.
The collaboration series that continues to develop for several seasons has also been strengthened, and we collaborated with “ArkAir” that handles British military wear which is also popular in the fashion zone, including collaborations with some good Japanese brands, we have produced a fully customized version of the standard smock jacket and BDU pants as exclusive set up.
The long-established American workwear “Dickies” has been added in this season’s collaboration, to arrange the classic MAGIC STICK pants with “Dickies”. Also collaborated with RAMIDUS, which can be said to be the original Ura-Harajuku for the third season, we have created a minimal capsule collection for the summer season.
The street minded basic THE CORE, which has become the base of the brand, has been increased in volume by adding a new styles that has been officially added after test sales at MAGIC STICK TOKYO store. We propose a variety of coordination by choosing a multinational group of items based on THE CORE.
Melting Pot Collection was built from the desire to feel the scent of the world even a little in this era when you cannot easily travel abroad.
